Description of activity
The Performing Arts create energy, excitement and enthusiasm here at Coombe and they offer something for everyone. Regardless of their success in other areas of learning, our boys and girls gain a great sense of achievement through the performing arts. We are therefore delighted to announce the official opening of CAPA - the Coombe Academy of Performing Arts from September 2019. The Performing Arts Team have a reputation for creating high quality performance work whilst generating an ethos of inclusion and an environment in which anything is possible and are excited to be able to expand these opportunities beyond the classroom.
This out of hours Performing Arts Academy will be available to boys and girls (aged 9 upwards) from the local community. CAPA offers a unique opportunity for your son/daughter to participate in termly theatre performances within a small ensemble. Whether new to drama or an experienced performer there is something for everyone with the opportunity for all CAPA members to ‘tread the boards’ termly.
