Description of activity
Kingston Women’s Centre is run by women for women. We welcome women from all backgrounds of all ages from the local community. We aim to provide a safe confidential space where you can talk about anything in your life that may be uncomfortable, confusing or painful without fear of judgement. We provide counselling on a weekly basis for up to two years.
Our counselling helps in different ways:
Manage difficult feelings
Find new ways of relating to yourself and others
Support you through life crises or life changes
There are many reasons to seek counselling such as: Anger issues, anxiety, bereavement, childhood sexual abuse, difficult childhood experiences, domestic abuse, depression, identity issues, life changes / life crisis, panic attacks, pregnancy and parenting issues, relationship difficulties, sensitivity and shame, trauma, work-related issues.
