Description of activity

Voices of Hope was established to help restore and rebuild hope in individuals, improving physical and mental health through community-based projects. We have reached approximately 250 people each week through our projects. Since the start of the coronavirus pandemic we have radically diversified and grown to meet the expansive needs within our community.

Over the last year we have worked hard to bring tangible hope into our community and improve the quality of life for key people groups, including women who have experienced domestic violence and abuse, those without a home, low-income families, those with complex physical and/or mental health issues and the elderly.

We focus our work in Kingston, Richmond and Elmbridge boroughs and rely on grants & donations to enable us to continue serving the isolated and vulnerable.

Choir Projects
All of the choirs that we run have the key aim of inspiring hope and creating change in people's lives. Through the power of hearts uniting to sing together, we have seen many people gain confidence and hope, and become part of a thriving community.

The Sisterhood Choir is open to voices of all standards and you don't need to be able to read music! There is no audition or minimum standard requirement. The songs are accessible to all abilities and are a mix of musical styles and genres.

The Sisterhood Choir runs weekly during term-time on Tuesdays between 11:15h and 12:30h at KingsGate Church.
