Description of activity
Fulham Football Club Foundation is a leading community charity building better lives through sport, providing support to those with disabilities and enabling opportunities to access sport in an environment best suited to their needs. Regular sessions run across a number of South/South West London boroughs, at a variety of locations and catering for players with any form of disability, both physical and/or learning.
Pan Disability Junior Hub, Active Autism, and 'Fulham Badgers' Downs Syndrome Football/Tennis are just a selection of activities available in and around the borough of Kingston.
Downs Syndrome Specific Sessions:
As Fulham FC Foundation were the first of London’s professional football clubs to launch a Down’s Syndrome football team in 2005, in partnership with the Down’s Syndrome Association, our commitment to disability and inclusive sport is highly regarded. The Fulham Badgers get access to fabulous facilities at Fulham FC's Training Ground and the National Tennis Centre, Roehampton for their weekly training sessions.
Active Autism:
Our Active Autism programme is our football provision for young boys and girls aged 5-16 years on the autism spectrum.
Junior Pan DisAbility Football:
In addition, we offer Pan DisAbility holiday camps, Blind and Partially sighted football, Adult Pan Disability Football and in school coaching, all providing specialist coaching for people of all ages with varied disabilities.
