Ofsted and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) will be inspecting our local area in the next few weeks. This is a multi-agency inspection of the support provided to children and young people with SEND across education, health and social care. Inspectors will track individual children's experiences, including meeting with them, their parents or carers, and the practitioners who support them.
An important part of the inspection process is hearing the voices of children, young people and families. Ofsted and CQC have therefore compiled surveys for parents and carers, as well as children and young people:
- Survey for parents and carers
- Survey for parents and carers (Easy Read)
- Survey for children and young people
These surveys will allow inspectors to consider the views of key stakeholders across the local SEND system.
If you're a practitioner working with children or young people with SEND in education, health or care services, Ofsted and CQC also want to hear from you. Practitioners can complete the survey here.
- The surveys close at 9am on Tuesday, 16 June.
- If you experience difficulties with the surveys, email: [email protected]
